The recording and performance of this piece of work took place at 'Home for waifs and strays', a pop up gallery in Birmingham. The first night was recorded on a digital video camera without an audience present, the video was then projected back over the performers while they performed the piece to the audience on the second night.
The performance consisted of 3 x guitarists and 3 x bass players. All strings were tuned to the note C over various octaves and were played with bows.
The performance looked at the notion of watching multiple time frames over one time frame. It looked at the human perception of linear time. The note C was used as this is commonly referred to as the ‘Earth’ note. It is the frequency that Earth creates. The note suggests a single geographical placement for the audience within multiple timeframes.
The two performances were recorded and mixed together by Steve Hough and released on Powerkraut Records. The artwork for the release was a folded A0 print of Lash Frenzy's 'Desperate Beauty'
